The biggest tourist attractions in India are Kashmir, Shimla, Nainital, Rajasthan, historical places of Delhi, beaches of Goa and Kerala.
Our country is earning million of dollars every year with tourism industry. It is good for our economy. Due to development of tourist places local people get jobs. They also learn new skills. They are earning more money and enjoy new facilities.
Government should also invest more money to attract more tourists. Tourists places must be beautiful. New places can also be developed. Care should also be taken to provide good transport facilities. Hotels should be better and cheaper. Tourists must feel tension-free and relaxed in India.
But tourism is also destroying natural beauty of many places. It is also ruining local culture. Its main reason is unplanned development and corruption. So the government should take steps to minimise the disadvantages of tourism.
